Parabere Forum (“Parabere Forum”, “we”, “us” or “our”) values our supporters, Conference delegates and other individuals we interact with (“you” or “your”) and respects your privacy. Protecting your information is of the utmost importance to us. Accordingly, we have provided this Privacy Policy to let you know how we will handle the information entrusted to us when you visit https://www.parabereforum.com and any other online site or application that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively the “Services”).
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Generally speaking, we collect or receive the following types of information when you use the Services:
- Information You Provide Directly. You may provide information directly to us in several different ways. For example, when you sign up for updates from Parabere Forum, register for one of our conferences, or create or enhance your profile in one of our mobile applications, we collect your contact information, including your first and last name, email address, country of residence, organization, your title within your organization and any other information you may choose to provide, which may include links to your professional profile on other sites or platforms. When you submit a comment in our “Contact” form, or complete one of our surveys, we collect information including your name, email address, country of residence, and whatever information is in the comments or survey responses you provide.
- Information We Collect Automatically. We automatically collect certain information about you and your computer when you use the Services, which may include: the type of web browser and operating system you have used to access the Services; your IP address (which is a number automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet and can be used to derive your general geographic location); and information about the content you view and the features you access on the Services that we collect using cookies and similar technologies. Parabere Forum uses a service called Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors to the Parabere Forum website use the Services. We also maintain a cookie on your computer, which is used in the Entry Comments feature of the Services when a user selects the “Remember me next time” option.
- We may share the Google Analytics data and our analysis of that data with third parties, including donors to Parabere Forum. Otherwise, we do not aggregate data collected by Parabere Forum with data from other websites or third-party sources, or share collected data with other parties.

THIRD-PARTY FUNCTIONALITY AND SITES
Some of the functionality on the Services may be provided by third parties that are not affiliated with Parabere Forum. These entities, including Google and PayPal, may collect or receive certain information about your use of the Services, including through the use of cookies, Web beacons, and similar technologies. Parabere Forum is not responsible for the privacy practices of these entities, and we recommend you review their policies. Additionally, the Services may link to third party sites that are not governed by this Privacy Policy. When you select a link to a third-party site from the Parabere Forum website or other Services (for example, if you link to PayPal in order to make a donation to Parabere Forum, or if you link to a social networking site, or conference sponsor site), you will be leaving the Parabere Forum website or Service, as applicable. Any information that you disclose on the third-party site will be governed by that site’s privacy policy.
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We rely on one or more of the following legal grounds (as appropriate) to process personal information:

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Parabere Forum uses a variety of technologies to learn more about how people use the Services and the Internet. This section provides more information about some of those technologies and how they work.
